What type of books are not purchased?

Solution manuals, test, annotated teacher editions,

books with missing cds, custom publications, used

consumables. Course manuals, reprints, and

working papers have no purchase value.
 
College textbooks must be free of broken bindings,
 
missing copyright pages, and water damage. Minor
 
highlighting is acceptable. K12 titles must be free
 
of all highlighting or marks within the pages.

Any books received by cbcbookgroup that are of

a illegal origin will not be purchased & will not be

returned.

How does cbcbookgroup determine the value of books?

Book prices are established by national market value for

K12 and college textbooks given at the time of the quote.

How does cbcbookgroup evaluate the condition of books to be shipped?

Irreparable damage such as bad binding, missing pages,

missing cover, water damage, or excessive highlighting

will affect the value of your check-in. K12 books must

meet certain criteria. Please contact us if you have

questions or concerns. We will send to you quality

criteria that must be meet for K12 books in your quote.

What about shipping cost?

Books shipped via our student buyback link are

provided a prepaid shipping label. Shipments made

directly to cbcbookgroup are prepaid. Your school will

be provided shipping instructions. We do not accept

collect shipments, so please contact customer service.

Drop shipments?

In certain instances arrangements are made to ship books

directly from your school to other partnership affiliates. The

purpose of this service is to save time, transportation cost,

and expedite payments. We frequently use this service in

hard-to-access areas within the United States.

What about books that have no market value?

We ask you to retain a copy of our quote to you for at least

a time period of one year. Your listing will remain active in

our data base on those titles both college and K12 that were

of no-value. Should our team learn of market activity on any

"no-value title" we will contact you immediately to make

purchase arrangements. 

What is a isbn number?

This 10 or 13 digit number is provided on the back cover of

the book and is usually found within a bar-coded box. Other

isbn information can be located on the book copyright page.

What about payments?

Students and faculty please refer to on-line buyback for

information on payment. Books that are shipped directly to

cbcbookgroup are paid for in 3 weeks, drop shipments take

upwards to 4 weeks from day of shipment.

Final Reminders about shipping...things you should do.

Use strong cartons with plain packing filler.

Need boxes? Let us know, we will provide these

at no charge

Enclose a packing slip quote with your shipment.

Tape box securely.

Always remove old shipping labels.
